What's Johnny Football's problem?
Did all of that attention go to his head?

I don't hate the Aggies, piggy.
I actually had high hopes for Manziel. Now go put a turd in another punch bowl.

His problem is a simple one ... he was raised as a spoiled entitled brat and he is now wasting away his God given talents just like you would expect a spoiled entitled brat to do ... because he has money, he has fame, and he feels that is all he needs.
He is in for a rude awakening.

The OP title makes no sense or have a beer.

I will change the title after Drew's 5 day demand letter is up.

Texas A&M and Sumlin, et al were enablers and only reinforced his lack of understanding re consequences and responsibility. It was easy to see the possibility and likelihood that Johnny would flame out. I didn't expect it happen quite this quickly, but it was almost inevitable to eventually happen.

You know it's great exposure for those young kids.

Apparently, not one of you understands addiction. The agent is doing the right thing. He is not in control.

This stance should have been taken with Johnny a long time ago.

With his privileges and celebrity I'd probably already be dead. Those expensive rehabs are prob the shite, though.
Just having Johnny Football in your rehab would be like a party. People dabbing, having punch. Talking about when they jizzed on a dog. (Sorry for that last part)

Yes.
When? After he declared for the draft? When he arrived at A&M? In high school?
When did it become a clear problem?
People are throwing Sumlin under the bus, I don'r know if that is fair.

Yeah, Mensa. That's why his agent is dropping him. Failure to enter "beating women" rehab.

As someone who had battled addiction, it is hard to explain to non addicts how this works.
It's not just something you put down. There is whole new way of learning to live that goes along with it. It is an illness and there is no real cure. Addicts will always be addicts, even when they are clean.
I feel bad for the kid. He has his whole life sitting right there before him but he hasn't seen the light yet. I hope he does soon. I hate seeing people lose their battle.
