The real explanation for his last second switch on signing day and the reason nothing will come of this pathetic display of manhood on video is that he was paid. State will do nothing to him and he will play. Simmons will do what he wants or he will spill the beans. That is all.

In all seriousness, as awful as it is, you can't punish the kid before he's on the team. Kicking someone off a team and revoking your commitment to give them a spot are two completely different decisions.

Especially after signing day, when it removes his chance to play anywhere else.

If he were a current player, I would say beat him with a hose and kick him off the team. Since he isn't, he hasn't been under any of your rules yet to actually violate them. Good opportunity to give a kid some of that act right.

He isn't playing, dude. I guarantee he never sees the field. This is one of the societal issues that is a huge fricking deal right now. Racism, feminism and domestic abuse. He is long gone and will be changing tires in noxubee for 40 years to come.

And as far as the original post goes, State should never be allowed to say a word to Ole Piss ever again. With the amount of shite I've seen them give for minor stuff like RKD's weed/window stuff, and now the majority of the posters on ED act like theres "nothing to see here" when a 300-pound man beats up a woman lying on her back.

State fans are pathetic. frick you all.

Say what you want State fans, but you can no longer stick your nose in the air to Ole Miss's issues if you let a guy who is shown punching a woman several times on video remain a part of the program. You have to admit your program is willing to get in the mud like every other program you criticize, especially tSUN.

The one main reason Ole Miss fans are on their "moral high horse" is because we've heard how much of a disciplinarian Mullen is compared to Freeze and now it's backtracking. Isn't it kinda ironic to call someone a hypocrite while also being hypocritical?

New conspiracy theory...

State knew they were going to have to let Simmons go. They paid the woman to file charges to invoke the Richt rule.
