Gators off to good start on the Diamond

The Florida baseball and softball teams are off to a 51-2 start to the season (21-1 Baseball, 30-1 Softball) against some pretty good competition. This quote is from Pat Dooley of the Gainesville Sun, "They don't overwhelm you, they just beat you. Both teams rely on pitching and defense. It's going to be an interesting spring around here."
Now I am sure since I posted this they will both go into slumps, but I just thought they both deserved a tip of the cap for the great start to their respective seasons. With the competition they are going to face in the SEC they will both lose their fair share of games.

Sorry. Youth softball has taken off in FL and Tim has been able to successfully recruit nationally.

Ole Miss baseball is off to one of our best starts ever at 20-2, softball is something like 25-7, but I don't know what to expect from SEC play from this softball team

I'm really glad we don't play y'all till the end of the year. Give our young bats time to develop before we have to take on the bid dogs this year.
If UF's ever going to finally get that baseball title it looks like this year could be the one. Looking forward to the rest of the best season!

Yep a road game for my dawgs in 3 weeks. May the LSU fans put some voodoo on their pitching rotation where they all get the flu.
