I like Wilkins and Judd and they will really be solid this year but I really think Swinney is going to be special!

I see Judd and Wilkins both improving each year since their injuries. Wilkins continues to show he can make some explosive runs and Judd has been hard nosed and patient behind the blockers. The one thing I saw that kept Walton from being more successful, was his impatience with the blockers. Too often he was in a hurry so much so he didn't allow for the holes to develop.
It appears both Wilkins and Judd do a good job of trusting their linemen and allowing the play to develop.
Once the coaches let Kelly open up the running game the offense became even more dangerous against better defenses. This was just the opposite from when Bo wasn't running as much after his shoulder problems began.
The running game in this offense is predicated on the defense having to respect the QB as a threat. It creates seams for the running game when the QB has to be accounted for in the running game.
I said last year Kelly would be an upgrade from Bo Wallace, this season Kelly could seriously push to surpass JFF as the single season leader in total yardage.
I was sitting with my Bama buddy watching Kelly make a huge run during a game against Auburn. The whole time prior to that he was attempting to dawg on Kelly about his past. I looked at him and simply told him, everyone deserves a second chance. What you do with it determines who you will be.
Kelly could simply walk away with all the QB records for Ole Miss.
He just needed the right environment to reach his potential.

From what I have heard Kelly gained 15 lbs and that extra weight will only make the coachs more comfortable with him running. He will have a very special year and our running game will be part of that.

I cringe when I see our QB's run the ball. That's not his job, and Bo was never the same after the Tulane game we won by 40.
And, see RN when Memphis gave him the concussion.

It's part of the damn offense. We have to be careful, but it really opens things up when we get it working

Yeah, its just too important to give up. Swag just needs to not try to break tackles and do too much. Hell, Cam Newton did it an entire year in the pros.

Yeah his going to have to run in our O. Now that's not saying I want to see him doing cart wheels like the Sugar Bowl he needs to embrace the slide. They just need to be smart about it.

I want to see what Eugene Brazley can do!!!!

Dose anyone know what the RB depth chart has looked like so far this spring?

Brazley reminds me of that kid from San Antonio. I think his name was Devin Thomas. He would have a crazy spring game every year and never see the field.

Great guy... I agree with you completely. I have no idea why he didn't get to play. He made plays every chance he got. He just didn't get many chances.
I talked to him about it and he wanted to transfer so bad but loved being in Oxford, so he stuck around. He definitely had the skills to play.

I am excited for the first time in a long time about our RB's chances to produce in 3rd and 4th and short.
I was watching some games from last year I DVR'd the other night and Judd has that "dirty cut" that Freeze likes. He has the knack to fall forward every time, making a 2 yard run a 4 yard run. I haven't looked at his numbers but the games I re-watched over the weekend (LSU, Miss St, Okie St) I would bet he averaged 6 to 7 yards per touch in those games.
Wilkins is only going to be a Jr next year.... Really?? He's a hoss for a rising Jr and he probably averaged about the same as Judd in those games I watched again. I see Judd and Wilkins being our 1a and 1b RB's next year.
The surprise is going to be Swinney. I'm hearing he is really impressive and is going to be a studd before he leaves Ole Miss. But this year he will be sharing touches.
