Greetings Rebs, I'm making my first baseball trip to Oxford this year, and was hoping I could get some info. It seems that RV parking isn't allowed anywhere on campus, is this true? I was hoping I could bring my camper up there for the weekend. I've been there a few times for football games and never seen any campers. I've been trying to get to Swayze for a few years and I'm pretty pumped about it.

There's multiple RV lots directly across and next to the baseball stadium.

Are these paid lots? First come first serve? Whats the procedure?

I'm pretty sure all the lots on campus lack hookups if that's a necessity.

It's spring break this week, but I'd call Parking Services (1 (662) 915-7235) sometime next week and ask about it. In typical Ole Miss fashion, there's next to no good info online regarding parking.

Nah it's not a necessity I have a generator. I did contact one site I found online called Hotty Toddy RV parking. It's across Jackson from campus, looks like a random parking lot with storage buildings. I think it may have been a sham because they said I could use their electricity/water for free if I sent them an email saying OleMiss would win haha. I didn't see any hookups when I looked on google earth. Looked just like a random parking lot.
I'm planning on bringing up some crawfish to boil if anyone is interested.

I've never heard of Hotty Toddy RV, and I've certainly never seen an RV parked across campus on Jackson haha. I assume you're trying to be close enough to/on campus to walk to Swayze?

Absolutely, the closer to the stadium the better. It will be awesome being on campus for a Th, Fri, Sat series. I'm sure there will be plenty of talent walking around.

I talked to my buddy who went to OleMiss (graduated 2012) about sitting in right field and setting up our tent etc. I asked him if it was ok for visiting fans to sit out there or would it be a douche move. Don't want to seem like we're a couple of tools trying to usurp territory. It will just be me and another guy and will be glad to share beer and food. Just curious on the etiquette, he said he has seen opposing fans do it before and it was fine as long as they weren't being assholes.

People usually have their stuff set up early in the week. I would suggest just going out there with some chairs and a cooler and not bothering with a tent because space will be hard to come by that weekend.

I'm sure they charge for RV parking next to the Stadium for football season, but it might be free for baseball. There is also RV parking further out near the soccer field and near Whirlpool trails. I wouldn't trust anything off campus

I appreciate all the info. I guess I will call that number with campus PD or parking or whatever. I'm sure they will be extremely helpful haha

Yeah, I would avoid the actual tent and just take a couple of chairs and a cooler full. People will be happy to hang out and grill and drink with you

Hope you enjoy swayze, I think you will really like our atmosphere

Walk over to left field if you want to hang out with the adults

Left field is probably a little more my style but I didn't know if you had to have a ticket to get in there. I do know a guy who will be in left field. Will try to get with him

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's like a $5 general admission ticket to sit in left.
