And Learfield Sports is different?? It's all a shell game. Learfield is owned by a private equity group who paid too much money for it and will eventually sell to some other group. Happens over and over again. Happened with IMG, and ISP before that too. They few guys at the top make bank and everyone else gets fricked. Now it's got the Fox brand to buoy it for a bit, but the names are interchangeable and there's not a nickels worth of difference among any of those rights holders. They broker on-campus rights, radio, ancillary TV programming and some digital and print inventory (and sometimes marks for promotional activation) and they sell it as sponsorships. Been the same business model since Host started it 30+ years ago. Consolidation breeds fractionalization which breeds consolidation and so on. Like I said... Ain't a nickel's worth of difference among any of the 3rd party rights holders.
