Right now Bama is fighting to keep the in-state population near 50%, without those Special entries it would be impossible.

Irons is just full of shite. He has concocted this conspiracy because he can't come to terms with the fact that UA is better than it has ever been and getting better every year.

Because they wanted the University's population to be above 32K. They knew that the State could not support those numbers without having to water down the curriculum. They are now banking on keeping those OOS numbers .
