Please help me understand why we continue to hear of JJ being in a 3 man race for QB? I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone. It can't happen. No matter what he looks like in practice. Would Gus in any scenario make him the starter and go through that mess of the JJ yips AGAIN? JJ is not the QB for his system is he??

But then again, what could Gus say or do at this time? Where do you move him to? Can't play TE because he doesn't like getting hit. I suggested holder to a friend, but he said that was too critical of a role....which I can't argue with. I then suggested windy kickoff holder, and that's where we left it.

Gus knows his back is against the wall. I believe that we will see his best attempt to be a head coach this season. From what I have heard, Gus is finished trying to be what he thinks the ideal head coach should be, and is attempting to do the job his way, bringing in people who buy into and understand HIS system and micromanaging every aspect of offense. If he starts JJ, JF3, or Snowboard Cam it will be because he believes they can contribute to him keeping his job. I'm excited about this season because it will be a turning point for Auburn Football. At the end of the season (or possibly before)we will either be moving forward with a successful Gus who has found his style of leadership, or we will be moving forward without Gus, and possibly without Jay, and hopefully without Tim Jackson (I know, no relation anymore, but I can hope, right?)!

Dude it's been discussed that Jason Campbell struggled and was tall and black and therefore one can reasonably assume JJ will be the next Jason Campbell. At least I read that on here a few times.
