I'm assuming a position coach is taking over? Anyone heard anything?

Doubtful. Recruiting coordinator is almost always its own position separate from coaching.

It's an administrative job. Odom had that job when Daniel was being recruited.

normally I agree with you, but several teams have their best recruiters serve as the recruiting coord. I'm assuming because a position coach can have actual contact with recruits so it's easier to gauge interest before putting resources toward the recruit. With Odom casting a larger more selective net, I guess that makes since.

It had been rumored when Odom was hired that he was going to clean house. Looks like he is doing that.

Odom's gig now. He should be able to have the authority at this point to hire the personnel that he feels will allow himself and the program the greatest chance to succeed.

So what former Sooner has been a recruiting coordinator?

AJ Ofidile and Royce Boehm have been names that are possibilities to join the staff.

Dude, that's as close as I could come. Besides who knows what color scheme the uniforms will have since they have abandoned black and old gold.

Damn man. What the heck happened?

Hit that rehab hard is all I can say. I blew out mine when I was 21 and didn't hit the PT as hard as I should have. Paying for it now.

Wow! Hope the other guy got it worse!

Seriously, hope rehab goes well. I know knee injuries are a pain, and mine occasionally bothers me years later. Hang in there!!

I'd be surprised Royce Boehm would take it. He's got a heart condition. I think that is a reason why he retired.

It's not a great paying position. His son is just now leaving.
