Really hope Craig picks things back up in the Mobile/pan handle area recruiting wise, used to recruit very well there until Saban arrived

Not sure besides getting him away from a West team. LSU has no problems recruiting, so it doesn't make alot of sense to hire an average position coach because he can recruit.

It's all about recruiting in this game folks...Steele and Wilson helped bring in a top class this year, if you want to maintain that you hire guys that can recruit and holy crap did he do that

You hire a lot of great recruiters that are average coaches you end up with 5*s playing like 2*s. In the end it's all about on the field production. Give me a guy that can turn 2*s into 4 and 5*s and it will show more than a guy that turns 4 and 5*s into 2*s. It's the same issue we have with Garner.
If LSU puts DC over QBs then it maybe a different story. But his WR coaching is lacking alot.

To a point. Schools like USC, UGA,Texas and Florida would be much more competitive than they are now if it was only about recruiting.

Think about where we struggle the most
Think about the comments Miles made about him and Cam seeking help with the spread this offseason
Think about what he played as and how successful he was in college
Think about what he is best at coaching
Think about who Craig has recruited
Think about 1st round draft picks he has coached to the NFL
Then think about his overall prowess as a recruiter

Then think about WRs not improving. Even if 5*s. Think about the only reason to hire him being that he came from Auburn.
