Be more interested in the teams records vs the ap top 25, 10, and 5 in the SEC.
**Counting wins/losses against ranked teams based on the opponents FINAL ranking only:
All-Time record in SEC play against Top 25 opponents:
42.8%- Alabama (77-104-6)
35.9%- Florida (66-119-3)
33.8%- Auburn (66-132-6)
29.4%- Tennessee (46-118-11)
28.8%- LSU (50-219-7)
25.0%- Georgia (39-121-4)
I only have the Top 6 though.
And before anyone complains about using *Final* rankings, stop. It's the only way to do it. Why should Bama get credit for beating a Top 10 Texas A&M early in the season but LSU not get the same credit for beating the same Texas A&M team later in the season? If you want to compare apples to apples, you have to use final rankings.

I found the error, LSU is 50-129-7, not 50-219-7.
Carry on...

Alabama is 77-105-6 (78-104-7 on the field) vs SEC teams that finished ranked in the AP.
Florida is 66-120-3
Auburn is 66-133-6 (65-134-6 on the field)
