5-star Dylan Moses could be a force at LB for Alabama

And with 4.5 speed, Moses has the physical ability to develop into the kind of impact player Foster was during his tenure in Tuscaloosa.
Projection for 2017: Depending on what Alabama does with Rashaan Evans, it's conceivable that Moses could compete for serious playing time at one of the most important positions in Nick Saban's defensive scheme. Then again, he could have the opportunity to make his mark as an edge rusher.

Alabama got star DL Isaiah Buggs after homestate LSU made a late push

He made 134 tackles in 2015 and 2016, including 15 for loss and 7.5 sacks. Alabama has benefited from JUCO defensive line transfers like Terrance Cody, Quinton Dial, Jesse Williams and others. There is a definite need to replenish the front line in 2017, so his addition to the class is huge.
Projection for 2017: Alabama lost Jonathan Allen and Dalvin Tomlinson on the defensive line along with pass rushing linebackers Tim Williams and Ryan Anderson. Two years of college experience is a help for a plug-and-play situation with Buggs. He's also among the 12 early enrollees who'll get significant experience this March and April adjusting to a higher level of play. Chadarius Townsend could be Alabama's next ArDarius Stewart

4-star defensive lineman Phidarian Mathis commits to Alabama
Alabama landed another big prospect from the state of Louisiana on Tuesday.
Phidarian Mathis, a top defensive lineman from Monroe, La., announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide. He chose Alabama over LSU and TCU.
"I chose Alabama because they treated me like a king over there," Mathis told NOLA.com's Andrew Lopez. "I feel like I fit into the system."

Alabama early enrollee Dylan Moses and current commitment Christopher Allen are also from Louisiana. Kicker commit Joseph Bulovas is also a Louisiana native. Junior college transfer Isaiah Buggs is originally from Louisiana.
He announced at the grave site of his cousin, Tyrell Cameron, who died after injuries sustained in a football game in 2015.
Mathis is currently commitment No. 25 for Alabama.

Alabama landed another big prospect from the state of Louisiana on Tuesday.
Phidarian Mathis, a top defensive lineman from Monroe, La., announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide. He chose Alabama over LSU and TCU.
"I chose Alabama because they treated me like a king over there," Mathis told NOLA.com's Andrew Lopez. "I feel like I fit into the system."

Interesting thought I had today and I'm debating on whether or not to share on the NSD board:
The kids who signed today were in 7th grade the last time LSU beat Bama. That is a huge factor in why Moses, Smith, Allen, and Mathis chose to leave LA and come to Bama.
