Over the period that Freeze and Jones have recruited against each other, OM averages a slightly better ranking than Tennessee based on the numbers previously posted in this thread.

This allows Freeze to discount his year 1 recruiting class. Year 1 for most coaches tends to be their worse class (see every article about Kirby from this NSD). The only viable way to account for this since we're using averages is to do one of the following:
a) average across 4 seasons for Jones and 5 for Freeze - averages should help to balance the differential in total recruiting seasons
or
b) ignore year 1 under Jones as well, again averaging Freeze's last 4 years with Jones' last 3

In either scenario, Ole Miss has not out recruited Tennessee. Simply because I don't feel like doing both sets of math, here are the results under scenario B which is more favorable for Ole Miss (this forum needs a table function in the worst way... formatting sucks pasting):

Tennessee
2014-2016
Avg. Class Rank 8.33
Avg. Total Rating 270.81
Avg. Rating/player 89.51

Ole Miss
2013-2016
Avg. Class Rank 11.5
Avg. Total Rating 260.53
Avg. Rating/player 87.68
