They're saying that Lasater didn't make a good impression personality wise; "not a good fit" = off-field stuff.
There has also been talk that Lindsey prefers TE use to HB/FB use.

From watching some Arizona State & Southern Miss games this seems true. Could take this as good news that LIndsey does in fact have a pretty big say in direction of offense

Great move by the staff. No need to take a FB when you can get a walk on to do that.
This new 2* TE kid can play special teams, FB, TE, Hback.

That's BS.
Also I really hope that we're not bitten in the arse later on passing on a FB. There's no develop at that position in the coming years.
