Interesting rb class for us.

All three guys Barrett, Aleric, and Octavius are all considered athletes and wanted at different positions by other schools cb, wr, and safety.

Somebody above was talking about Octavius so I went and watched his film and came away more impressed. He's bigger than I thought and ran with vision. I had the opposite reaction with Alaric. I think Octavius and DB could be a great combo

It would definitely be a different type of class for sure. I am very high on Matthews, think I have said that like 12 times but I just love his film & think he steps in next season as a contributor

I really like Barrett as well. I followed Tampa Catholic last season to track Craig-Myers and Barrett was always putting up some sick numbers. He has that next gear you like to see where he can pull away from defenders in open space and has the frame to get to size to handle SEC punishment imo

I just don't know on Alaric. His highlights seem disappointing to me namely because he is not as explosive as I thought he would be still. He is very physical and does a lot of things in high school. I might agree with someone earlier who said they think he could end up a S

Again though I am far from a talent scout so more than likely Alaric will be the beast and Matthews will be a bust I think a lot of the RB recruiting has gone this way due to us not really making much headway on more traditional type of RB recruits such as Cam Akers, Trey Sermon & Ty Chandler. Why that is the case don't know but just seemed like early on we were behind on a lot of these guys. I need to check out the early 2018 cycle & see if there are any traditional type RB targets that we might be higher up on next time around
