Mississippi isn't the only state where the KKK is prominent

Actually the KKK isn't prominent in Mississippi at all, and hasn't been since the 60's. In fact, it barely exists in MS today according to a local FBI guy I talked to. Personally, I've never seen a hooded Klansman in person that wasn't on a movie set and I've lived in MS most of my life. Oxford is the only place I know in this state where they've had recent organized gatherings.

There's a video on Youtube called "Ole Miss KKK The Truth" where the clucker responds to the statement that "the rally killed the KKK in the South." The protest was just prior to a LSU game on Nov. 21, 2009. He said it was 11 cluckers standing up to a hostile crowd of 20,000 that insulted them the entire 10 minutes they stood silent. In fact, he makes a pretty good case for Ole Miss. On other videos, be sure to watch for the clucker with the Auburn baseball cap.

You're right. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center's "Hate Map", there are only TWO (2) active chapters of the KKK in Mississippi. However, there are a ton of them in Alabama and Tennessee.
