7 above average or pro bowl level NFL players from the draft classes between 2010 and 2014.
Yea, what a bunch of busts.

I don't subscribe to PFF's calculations. I've seen many of their rankings that are just blatantly wrong.

Agree, they aren't great at taking into account specialty guys either, but it still gives an overall idea and shows that Alabama had a million guys who start or play a lot and a bunch more who are above average.

So at least 10 first round draft picks that are average or below. I am pretty sure James Caroenter would have been in that group last year. Bust U

And CJ Mosely would have been the opposite.

You realize that the rate of 1st round picks becoming pro bowlers is not super high, right? That is the norm for everyone, not just "Alabama".
But enjoy your fantasy. Dee Ford and Corey Lemonier were even below Courtney Upshaw on the edge rushing list. Yeesh.

Being an "average starter" in the motherfricking National Football League doesn't make you a bust, you window licking retard.

Only a bammer fricktard like you think teams draft guys in the first round with the hopes of them being average.

Meanwhile Auburn has a whopping four first round picks going back to 2008.

Well half of second round picks turn out unsuccessful. If you get a multiple year starter out of a first rounder is generally good

Auburn 1st round picks since 2012 graded
2014 #2 pick : Greg Robinson, tackle, #77 (30.3) - below replacement (5th worst starting tackle in the NFL per PFF)
2014 #23 pick : Dee Ford, edge rush, #104 (46.3) - below replacement (7th worst edge rusher in the NFL per PFF)
Who would say has the higher bust rate the last few years? I'd say 100% would be hard to top.

What? You understand that having a draft pick turn into a multi-year successful starter is a win, right? Picking up average starters is exactly what they're looking to do.
You understand that an "average starter" is a badass compared to most of the rest of the players in the NFL, right?

Look at the Carolina Panthers first ground picks in the last 5 years to see what a successful first round draft pick looks like:
2011- Cam Neeton
2012- Luke Kuechly
2013- Star L
2014- Kelvin Benjamin
2015- Shaq Thompson
Cam, Kuechly, and Kelvin Benjamin are basically pro bowl level players. Star L is just below that. Shaq Thompson didn't get s ton of playing time as a rookie because the Panthers are already in pretty good shape at linebacker. However, he looked pretty good when he did play and looks to be a good pick for the future.
Those players are light years better than most of bammers first round picks

Are you arguing with another NFL fan about teams drafts what? WTF is this?

Amari > Benjamin
Mosly's rookie year > Shaq Thompson
Dareus > Star L
Kuechly and Newton are 2 of the 5 best players in the league, so sure.
Anything else?
