Used to be Ron Bliss when the Kingsport paper was one of state's four biggest circulations prior to Volquest and all of that. (Edit: KPT had a huge SW Virginia subscriber base) ... Bliss was famous for asking the most asinine questions back in the Majors and Fulmer eras. My favorite Phil Fulmer story from back when I was in the business was doing an article on Jason Witten's draft day, Bud Ford the infamous former UT SID gave me Fulmer's new cell, at that time, for a comment and told me via e-mail: Whatever you do, DO NOT give this to Ron Bliss.
Will never forget that.

He is actually Sports writer who graduated from SMU. He got fired by Orange Blood, the t.u. (University of Texas) website and then later fired from 104.9 the Horn radio in Austin. I believe he currently works for HornsDigest and writes F'ed up articles about A&M to drive up subscriptions, but apparently ESPN uses him as a source for all things about A&M football.
