Glad to see someone is giving them a money game.
Not sure if they win any games in 17, but it is a start.

All the SEC teams should schedule them, and help them get that program back up.
As it is, I'm sure UAB will be better than North Texas or other teams that often show up on these OOC schedules.

We open with a possible top 5 Michigan team in Dallas.
Nice try though.

Since Legion Field is now Auburns home away from home now, plus Auburns iexplicable bleeding hearts for UAB football i fully expect to see thousands of Auburn fans show up every Saturday for UAB home games.

Coach Clark is a really good coach by all accounts and he is going to have them practicing all of 2016. That being said, I really doubt they will be good in 17 (I think they have signed some former SEC players already).
I am really glad to see some SEC teams scheduling them for the visibility and for the income.

C'mon a Top 5 pre-season Michigan team is really a team ranked around 30.

Way to support a school in your own system.
Oh that's right. I guess since it is not Tuscaloosa I guess it only serves as collateral for the main campus to build new frat houses.

Plus the fact that we play FSU on top of that.

Damn. Going to suck for Florida to lose a game so late in the season.

Revenge on Michigan?
Hope you tan them.

Would you go to AUM games, if Auburn allowed them to have a team?
I didn't think so.

I don't and have never cared about UAB. I think it's a travesty they even have an athletic department.

If I went to AUM I would.

AUM does not have games and no one was asking you to go to UAB games. You just want their program dead.
Typical Bama sidewalk logic.
"I cannot like any other college team cause they ain't Bammer"
"I only like NFL teams with Bammer players and really hate them teams with LSU or AU players"
"I only like small schools if they got a coach who went to bammer or coached at bammer"
It is sad.
But I will comment no more on it.
At the end of the day, the students at UAB won and beat the good old boy system in Tuscaloosa. Most current UA students supported their sister school and it is a sign that maybe the days of running things through back rooms in secret deals is coming to a close.
Again, I am really glad Florida is playing them and glad they got their program back. Now if the city sacks up and gets them a stadium I hope they have great success. Even if they don't their story will always be one where David slew the Giant PBjr. He is off the BoT and in bad shape. The program will outlive him and I am sure he will grind his teeth until the end about that.

It was the "good old boy system" that allowed UAB football to come back in the first place.
Whatever the BOT says goes. UAB football survived through their good graces.
