No one actually refers to the big 6 other than this board, not that I've seen at least.

I don't think you need an article. The facts speak for themselves.
SEC Championships since 1964:
19- Alabama
8- Georgia
8- Florida
7- Auburn
7- Tennessee
7- LSU
1- Everyone else (and that one was claimed way back in 1976)
Doesn't take a rocket scientist, nor a media article, to clearly see there is a clear separation between the Top 6 teams in the conference and everyone else.
