This is the first time I've tried to sit and watch a basketball game from the beginning all year.

They can't pass, dribble or shoot. Now I know why people in this forum are so down on Kim. I've seen better execution from high school teams.

I submit that they do not practice.
There's no way they do.

We don't have the talent or the coaching staff to compete against division 1 teams. That's the sad truth. Only reason we beat Auburn is because they had starters out.

I just don't watch. Don't even follow. It's better for me this way. I feel like I've turned into a sidewalk basketball fan, and I hate that. But I just cannot follow this, it's too painful and it depresses me. My life is calmer this way.

I want them to be successful, and would watch and follow if there was improvement or some spark, light at the end of the tunnel. But the ineptitude without improvement is just not something I can watch.

If someone besides Clark showed up today this is a tight game. Isabell killed them early with turnovers and lazy arse defense.

They were scrappy today. Hung with a Top-20 team on the road.

It's been a tough week.

Rosburg and Allen played great.

I can't wrap my head around how Woods and Isabel see more than spot duty. Both just awful.

Or because they are a worse team than Mizzou.

Rosburg was great on offense. He was absolutely terrible on the other end especially rebounding. ZERO rebounds flat out awful. From what I saw Allen played hard and very well at times

I just find it comical at this point. I just don't even care. I haven't watched a full basketball game in years now. I will check the box scores and laugh then come here and laugh more.

Clark had a great game. 26 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists. Unfortunately the rest of the starters were not good. TOs and offensive rebounds win USCe the game. There is a huge difference between the physical builds of the Mizzou guys and that of the teams we play. The strength coach really needs to get these guys all 15-20 pounds of muscle before next year.

Went to dinner tonight with a friend who's an Auburn fan.

Me: did you hear mizzou got NCAA sanctions this week?

Her: yeah, in a sport that doesn't count. Hey, at least you're cheating! Gotta get better at that though.

Me: hey, now, we paid a player for a job that didn't exist and "helped" some parents find a place to live!

Her: yeah, we have a slush fund, give cash, cars, houses and debit cards. Y'all need to get better, and learn how not to get caught. But you're trying!

Me: I think we played Auburn this week, and we may have won. Do you know?

Her: no, I don't watch basketball. Don't care. I do know Bruce Pearl is our coach though.

Then we ordered more margaritas.

There it is, in a nutshell. The average SEC fan's viewpoint.

And I have quickly become an average SEC fan.

Kinda sucks. I enjoy basketball.

We are lucky we are in a terrible BB league. Any other league eats us alive.

I dunno. Finishing last in a terrible BB league kinda makes me feel worse about it.

At least we get 1 or 2 wins though. In the other four P5 leagues we probably go winless so there is that.
