You know what I was inferring. Ole Miss basketball fans are the worst in the conference.

Ole Miss fans suck in general. Not knowledgeable about anything and just base opinions on a bunch of hearsay

Nice preview. However, to bring up Blakeney and not Keith Hornsby is a travesty. After a really poor shooting night at Florida I fully expect Hornsby to light it up from three point range in this one. I honestly expect a 10+ point win from LSU but I could see Ole Miss cutting the lead late in second half to single digits if LSU becomes complacent.

I'll be at the game so I'm hoping for some great performances!

Pretty much a must-win for LSU to avoid losing all the momentum of the 2-0 start.

Played the #mustwin card.

Have a downvote.

Me either. I'm just hoping we play better than the Kentucky game.

I'm being realistic. You think we'll be a 6 seed in the tourney. I think we'll lose half of our remaining games and wind up with ~20 wins, ~10 losses, ~.500 in conference like we do every year.

You think this team is as good as or better than the 2011-2012 team?

I absolutely love Ole Miss basketball. We'll probably upset someone down the stretch and it very well could be tonight, but you aren't a terrible fan for speaking realistically about your team.

I said if we win the next 5 that Lunardi would have us around a 6 seed in his latest bracketology installment. The '11-'12 team finished 20-14, so yeah, I think this team is probably just a little bit better. Go back and read my posts, I predicted 18-22 wins at the beginning of the season. If we win tonight, we'll be favored in the next four games, 3 of which will be at the Pavilion. That is a fact. Win tonight and 17-3 is a realistic possibility.

Win tonight and we're 13-3 with four winnable games coming up

vs. Florida
vs. South Carolina (blowout)
at MSU (all we'll have to do is show up)
vs. Auburn - W

17-3 is a reasonable expectation depending on tonight and the Florida game. We'd be ranked in the 15-20 range and be looking at a 6 seed in Lunardi's latest bracketology.

OM only wins one of those. Auburn. And that's a maybe.

My mistake I meant the 12-13 team. Predicting 18-22 wins is a guarantee with an Andy Kennedy team. That's not a bad thing. It could be much worse. But still true.

It's just too hard to predict SEC basketball outside of Kentucky. I don't think we're going on some miraculous run with this team.

I think USC is on par with us. Can't get a good read on Florida but I feel like they're as good or maybe a Tad better. Having those 2 at home helps but far from a guarantee.

I think we lose to y'all and beat Auburn.

I don't either, but the all too common trend is to knock Kennedy year in, year out. No one supports the team and rarely gives them credit for anything. Hopefully that will change with the addition of the Pavilion

The Tigers were dominated by the Gators’ frontcourt

Not sure who wrote this but the fact is that LSU out-rebounded the Gators by 12 and took far more shots in the paint, just didn't shoot well. Gators outscored the Tigers by 2 points in the paint as a result. Should be a good game tonight.

No offence to the ole Miss fans but I don't see this one being close. Moody had trouble agaisnt lsu last year and I expect that to continue. Im impressed with Saiz and his devolpment but I don't think he can hang with Craig or Benny. Here's to a good injury free game.

Also good writeup on both teams
