Lets also keep in mind that these offenses have practiced together for less than a week. I think the 2nd half will be much more exciting from an offensive perspective. But if not I'm still not worried about Eason.

Patterson is awesome I see why he's no 1

Nobody should be worried about him.
1. It takes time to develop a rapport between a QB and WR.
2. They are going in and out every other series, so they can't get a rhythm going.
3. As you said, they have only had a week to practice.
This is a showcase to see some of the best against some of the best, nothing more. It will not indicate how good or how poorly they will perform on the next level.
For instance....had Hardman not slowed down Eason might have a TD this game. A seasoned WR in college would not have slowed down. WRs are wide open.....want happen to that degree in college. They are not establishing a running game like they will in college. It's entertainment and should be taken as such.

Why wont this East coach let a QB get a couple series in a row? No1 can get in any rhythm.
This Byrd dude is a playmaker. damn

Maybe not.
Bad decision there.
I was just thinking the same thing. Bad thing is he had a lot of time and easily should have seen NOT to throw the ball. VERY poor decision there.

BYRD is ripping it. It's definitely his game. Everything is just falling his way.

Don't say that on the SEC rant, word has it over there that Eason is a bust and Shea Patterson is winning the Heisman next year.

Personally, I think they should play each of them for a half...or at least a quarter. My guess is they are playing to the kids egos. Nobody is #1 type of thing. It just hurts the kids, though.

Ole MIss fans, no doubt. I don't worry too much about what the Rant thinks.

Coley needs to do work on this Byrd fella

Byrd has had a great game.

Problem with giving all of them a quarter is they might not get equal playing time. But yeah, it makes way more sense.

Don't get too low with a performance and don't get too high on one. Byrd is looking good, though.

Good point. You might get one possession in a quarter or you might get three. There isn't a good way to handle a QB situation in an All Star game except to pick a QB and let him play unless he messes up. They just want to give them all some PT.

Absolutely is. AND, he is making the plays. It's not like he taking advantage of lucky bounces, so I suspect he is the real deal.

Cleveland getting beat with a fast man on pass rushes. He'll need to adjust.
