I hate Tennessee as much as most Bama fans do but that 98 team was a good football team. Every championship team has one game that has a lucky bounce go their way. Bama had to block 2 kicks against Tennessee in 2009 to win that game and only beat La Tech 13-0 in 1992. shite like that happens.

(even though they technically didn't win the championship) the most extreme example of this is Auburn 2013. They had TWO 1-in-a million plays go their way, but it doesn't make their status as nat'l runners-up any less legitimate. They were fluky plays, but sometimes those just happen.
