UT is the second most accomplished football program in SEC history, behind Alabama. They have the second most national championships, second highest winning percentage, and I believe second most conference championships. Their problems started with firing Fulmer. When they actually hire a real coach, they'll be back to competing for championships.

Firing Fulmer was stupid. If you look at his winning percentage it's even more stupid. But this is the Sec where any down times get you fired fast. Any program, and I do mean any program despite having a good coach will eventually see down times. Some recruits just don't pan out, some get into trouble or you hit that cycle where you lose so many top athletes back to back that you go into rebuilding mode. It's not fair but thus is the coaching job at the best conference in the nation.

This is so wrong. If you read the thread you will see that Tenner has the 98 anomaly. And it's not an anomaly because of Arkansas giving them an unforced turnover that allowed them to win, it's an anomaly because it's the only quasi-legit NC they have in their history.

Big 6 status revoked.
