Oh boy, where to start? In reverse order of the stupid things I read in this thread:

1. Calvin Johnson shouldn't be the test for how good a WR is. He's off the charts, and will probably end up a HOFer. Most 1st rounders won't sniff a Pro Bowl, so even for high first rounders you are setting your sights at a guy who can start for multiple seasons of a 5 year rookie contract and perhaps end up in one Pro Bowl by year 5. That's makes for an A to A+ pick for picks 5-32.

2. Since when is 97 catches in 2 seasons pedestrian for a 3rd rounder? That's a home run pick, and huge production at a position that usually develops slowly.

3. Treadwell - not every skill player can be evaluated purely on height, weights, and 40 time. You need route running skills, good hands, blocking, be a good teammate, stay healthy, and recover well from injuries. Treadwell checks the box on all of these to go with good size, weight and speed. If he had everything, he'd be megatron. But you know who has pretty pedestrian height, weight, and speed stats? Amari Cooper. Who has all of the above? Julio Jones. Sure, I'd pick Julio first, but I don't think any NFL team would be disappointed with Amari in the first round in a redraft. I'm not comparing Treadwell to Cooper but based on his measurables and college dominance I see no reason why he couldn't be a #1 WR for a decade.

According to that stat he posted, the guy gets a first down and some change every time he touches the ball. I don't understand how that could possibly have been spun into a negative.
