This one is a little different, although there are parallels.

Both administrations at the time were/are far leftist socialist liberal progressives with corrupt people calling the shots.

Both administrations have corrupt Justice Departments giving orders.

But Waco involved a crazy church/religion and some armed church members.

These guys in Oregon ... they are not going to be so easy if it comes to that. These guys seem pissed off and jacked-up for a fight. They seem genuinely pissed at the Federal Government and they feel they have a right to be pissed ... they are apparently willing to fight for a completely different cause according to their statements.

Well now that narrows it down, doesn't it?

If they bow up the Feds have more men and gunpower. So if they feel froggy and jump how will this not be like Waco 2.0?

These guys aren't even from Oregon, and the locals don't even want them there. The two guys they're rallying over have even distanced themselves from them.

These "militia" groups have been around out there since the 70's. Back then they were the Sagebrush Rebellion.

Clinton:

Welfare reform
Defense of Marriage Act
Balanced budget with surpluses
Trade deals like NAFTA and GATT, which greatly benefitted large corporations
Religious Freedom Restoration Act (the basis for the recent Hobby Lobby decision by SCOTUS)
Average deficit spending 0.1% of GDP (8.4% under Obama)

From The American Conservative:

quote:

Clinton’s record on government spending and deficits isn’t just better from a conservative perspective than Obama’s. It is superior to George W. Bush’s. The Republican-controlled Congress deserves some of the credit (though their fiscal discipline started to wane as early as 1998). But while Clinton was president, congressional Republicans were trying to cut spending and balance the budget. When Bush took over, they voted for deficits and government growth.

Even the Republicans were better under Clinton.

His reapportionment plan in Arkansas as governor was found by SCOTUS to be a "systematic and deliberate attempt to reduce black political opportunity" in violation of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

This is what passes for a "far leftist socialist liberal progressive"? Anyone calling Bill Clinton a radical or an extremist is far more of one than he ever was.

Most Americans should feel this way, but express it in the voting booth.

You are ignorant.

Neither Clinton nor Obama are far leftist socialist.

They are center right pro-business crooks.
