Where will you rank the 2015 team rank among Saban's other national champ teams?

Really starting to think this D is 2011 level.

I'll wait and see what we do to Clemson just because we haven't played a lot of qb s who can really hurt us.

The D will be fired up for this game. Leading up to the game all they will hear is how mobile QBs carve up Bama defenses. They will be out to prove a point. No team wants to play a fired up Bama D.

Best defense, bottom 3 offense.

I think I'd take this defense over 2011.

How often they get to the QB and disrupt the opposing offenses.....I'd take this D and you know I love the D.

This narrative has gotten old. We have played plenty of talented QBs, the problem is we consistently wreck their QBR. I am not counting the win, I just don't need ESPN narratives regurgitated in every BAMA thread.

I think if we have a safety like Barron, who could play in the box really well, then it would be. But the two are similar. Stout against the run, good in coverage and play really good press, and just absolutely monstrous up front.

I love defensive teams. I loved 2011. The '11 defense is probably statistically better, but I love watching this defense more. I like the way they play and the way that they get to the QB. It's a great thing to watch.

The offense can be quite frustrating to watch at times, for sure......but I enjoy watching the chemistry and commitment from the players.

This is definitely Saban's most "ferocious" defense, but still his second worst team outside of 2007

Bama doesn't need safeties to load the box this year. The DL is that good.

We must be watching different teams. This is the best college front seven ever assembled. They are absolutely destroying very good offensive lines. Cook didn't have time to blink Thursday night.

They drive you crazy with the negative plays, but they make up for it with the explosive plays. ISIAP that Jake is 265 yds from 3000. 2000 for Henry, 1000 for Ridley. One other team in history has done that. And Bama did it against the best defenses in the country.

You can't go wrong either one. They are probably even to be honest at this point - crazy that both pitched shutouts in the post season. But this d has improved a ton I think whereas our 2011 sort of came in and dominated all year, I just always had the feeling that year saying "I honestly just dont see how they can score on us" before every game.
