First time Aubie has been back since 1998 Iron Bowl.
I really wish we could play once more there. I know most everybody wasn't even born when we played at Legion but to us around before the 2000's Legion is a special place for us.
We played our last regular season game in 2003 and we didn't know it at the time. We were contracted thru like 2009 or so to play a game there every year until the structure issue came up.
We never got to say goodbye to that grand ole ball park. I have way more memories of great wins there. I know BDS will eventually replace it but probably for me, 70% of our greatest wins have been there. I'm talking the Penn States, Notre Dames, Nebraska's and Aubie and Tennessee.

I wouldn't be opposed to playing one of our tune-up there. Like a Western Carolina or Samford.
About 70,000 show up to those games anyways.

shite man I grew up going to Legion Field......I love the place. IDGAF what anyone says.
I would give anything if we could play one farewell game there. I travel and pay $$$ to attend.
