With the loss of Steele, is the clock on HC Les Miles moving even faster?

Les was as close to the firing line as he's ever been this year. Now that he's lost 2 DC's in the past year to other jobs in the SECw, is this a signal that his his dismissal is coming sooner than later?

It doesn't help, that's for sure.

They're just going to make Orgeron DC

We didn't lose anything with the loss of Chavis and sure as hell won't with the "loss" of Steele.
LSU stacked, SEC fuuuuucked.

no if anything getting rid of Steele has cooled his seat slightly

Steele was told to find a new job by Miles. Not sure how that accelerates his clock at LSU. But if getting blown out three straight games doesn't get Miles fired, nothing short of a losing season will

I think LSU fans are standing around looking at each other trying to figure out which argument to take.
They said Steele sucked, fine. They also say Miles sucks and the administration wants him fired. Sounds like a zoo over there.

The hiring of Steele last year was more detrimental to Miles than the fact that he left this year. His hiring was not well received among Tiger fans & the guy that a lot of fans wanted hired as DC last year, Orgeron, will probably now be promoted to DC. Win win for Miles & the fans.

So one can't think both sucks?
Because that's what plenty of LSU fans think

lol no, Steele is not a great coordinator and we're universally glad that not only is he gone, but we get to play him next year.

That is my position. It was stupid when LSU did it. It is stupid for Auburn to do it.

Of course, in fact over at AU we're taking it up a notch and calling for the ADs head. Was just verifying the LSU thought on miles and Steele.

Orgeron to DC seems obvious but Leslie is only predictable on the field.

It'd be worse on Miles if he retained everyone and underperformed next year

Now just 2 or 3 more coaches who need to be processsed to right the ship.
