Would look like a really good hire to casual fans because you could say "oh we hired LSU's DC". Fans who actually watch football will be pissed. I still say it doesn't really matter who he hires. His future here is mostly on what the offense does next year.

Underwhelming but some people wanted Lance for this position. Get Steele and keep Lance probably not too bad, especially if we have an offense next year.

I wouldn't doubt it. First time EVER in the history of lsu that they gave up 20+ points in 10 straight games and we choose him? frick. We have no where near the athletes lsu does who saved his arse multiple times this year. Seriously frick you Gus if this happens
