We need to meet up and hit some balls and play a round together. Drink some beers talk some ball (all of them) and. Get some money. 5 a side per person Anand 1 dollar rabbits every 3 holes. Max you lose is 16 bucks but likelihood of that is nil.

In. What area of the state do you generally play?

I didn't play nearly enough this year. Let me know the dates/times and I'll see if I can make it.

How bout we wait til Spring time for such an event? I'm game, but I retire from golf during deer season so it'll give me time to dust the cobwebs off.

Spring, after Masters week?

I work The Masters every year, and then I go to Hilton Head. But anytime after that, count me in. I'm not the ball striker I used to be, but I can still pound brewskies with the best of 'em while going through the motions of trying to score on a golf course.

Is this a trick question?
Intoxicated describes my state of play.

I'll be at the Masters at least Monday and Tuesday this year, and if Kisner is in contention, Sunday as well. As far as HH goes, I haven't been down there since 06 or 07. Didn't they do a renovation down there this year?

Spring sounds good I'll try to find a course for us. April is Turkey season but i suppose I can sacrifice a day now that the downed the bag limit.

Lulz... I will play anywhere. Just didn't know where the OP preferred. I don't start drinking until I make my first bogey, which could be hole #1.

Gamecocks only or does South Carolina residency qualify me

They've done quite a few renovations since '07 but yes, they did renovate the actual course itself over this past summer. I was down there in early November and it looked good.
Sea Pines is still better IMHO, but Harbour Town is very nice. All the greens and tee boxes were rebuilt and replanted at Habour Town, plus the roughs were reseeded and cut differently. It's still a very challenging course, probably more-so now than it ever was.

Bringing one back from the dead...whatever happened with this'n?

It just died...was waiting on spring but work had me busy as hell and I forgot about it.

From what I understand it was too damn hot to play around here all summer.
Might be something to try to do in the fall maybe? I've always thought that golf in SC, from November to March, is some of the best in the country.

It's never too hot, for me anyway. I don't play hardly either, but I will also pounds cans for the day. I haven't played around Columbia in forever.

Cobblestone is great and reasonably priced. I'm down to play any time.
