But really, Kirby, no rush being here to run the program or anything.

He's gone for a few weeks. We will be ok. I did like Ekeler but Smart is not keeping many from the old staff.

I would assume our OC AND DC will bring in their own staff correct?

Crazy how few coaches we will have for this game.

I'm talking more about having enough bodies in the building to actually conduct bowl practices.
We now have only 2 coaches to run the defense.

The defensive GAs and analysts will coach the position groups.

Can the "analysts" do that? GAs can, of course, but the analysts aren't supposed to have any kind of coaching contact with the players

I'm dusting off my whistle and in route as we speak.....however I'm an old school 4-4 guy so........................................

I think there is some gray area during a coaching change.

They can be "activated" so you have 9 coaches on the field

You guys do remember after WM got shitcanned we basically had an entire staff of GA's on that side of the ball for the bowl game? Nothing new.

Even if Kirby had cut ties to alabama, he wouldn't have anything to do with the bowl or who coaches in it, right?
This is stupid.

Damn, I loved the way he coached.

Maybe Rico was smoking to ease the pain from Ekeler walloping him.
