Jeffery Simmons - 36 overall - #3 DE - Noxubee County, MS

I used the search function, and couldn't find a dedicated thread.
Per 247, he has a top 5 of Vols, Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Miss State. Obviously, not in that order. He visited Knoxville a couple of weeks ago, and the staff is expecting him back on an official in January.

Now that we might land Greg Little and Richmond has proven to be overrated, I actually have to thank y'all for stealing him. Worked out for the best for us.

Your offensive line is a joke and he was redshirted. Rumors of him looking to transfer back home before Fuente moved on don't help.

Rumors started by butthurt Rebals, absolutely ZERO truth to them.

2nd best rushing offense in the SEC, but keep pretending like you know what the frick you're talking about

Tennessee and Ole Miss need their own recruiting boards. This pissing contest gets really old

Actually y'all were 3rd behind LSU and Bama.Y'all also ran the ball more than anyone, so go figure that. A running QB inflates those numbers. Ole Miss is 7th in rushing yards and 3rd in yards/attempt, that without the best offensive lineman in football for half the year. Don't think anyone would tell you we have a great running game or offensive line.

Well this changes everything!

So his stats should be removed?
I'm totally shocked that our true frosh tackle didn't start this year. Must be a complete bust.

This is really dumb. Add to it that Simmons literally has no chance of going to UT and it makes it even more stupid.

Tennessee finished 93rd in the nation in passing yards. 80th in red zone offense.
56th in sacks allowed. And 110th in tackles for loss allowed. Man that Tennessee offensive line was stacked. Good thing they had a running QB that was forced to run for his life.

Everyone put your dicks away, no one cares how small they are. Let's get back to talking about Simmons. He's a Landmass battle with Alabama looming in the wings and LSU and UT as dark horses running in fourth and fifth for him. I hope we land him, he would be a big get. It'll be a wild recruitment though, despite all the State fans saying "itz done! He grindin! South of here said so and he ain't never been rong!" Could wind up at Bama, MSU or Ole Miss and I wouldn't be shocked.
