I guess you haven't seen highlights from Mr. Guice then have you?
Look to all the Gumps who think Henry's season is some all-time great accomplishment, Fournette had a 31 yard game and would still have beaten Henry's yard mark if he played McNeese State.
I just don't think the country as a whole is mesmerized by this kid when his coach runs him for the 40th time with 26 seconds left in a game that's over.
Everyone saying he makes the team just casually forgets the guy has one of the best run blocking lines in the country. Plus, it's not like the guy leads his team in rushing and receiving. That would be crazy... Maybe not so much for McCaffery

Alabama is able to continually recruits freaks at RB (6'3 230 lb type guys) who then are handed the ball close to 30 times a game and run behind one of the best offensive lines in college football. Not to mention in a Lane Kiffen offense with the offensive talent they can recruit at WR they are able to keep a relatively balanced offense. Henry is both a beast and a product of his system and it is no surprise that Bama rb's continued to get invited to NY when they are in the championship race every year.
The better question is why does it seem like McCaffery has very little chance to win the award when he does far more for his team with less?

It's funny how people think because they can say how something was done it has no meaning or value.
If it's so damn easy, then everyone would be doing it. It wouldn't be a 34 year old record getting broke.
As for Fournette - I'm betting these days he's thinking he picked the wrong team since he's going to face that Alabama defense every year of his career.

The one where Tony Brown almost broke him in half? Or the one where Nysewander knocked him out of Bryant-Denny? Are those the highlights you were referring to??? Be specific.
