Former UGA football coach Jim Donnan warned the Bulldawg nation on the Paul Finebaum show on Wednesday afternoon UGA may not be where some thinks it is.
"Everybody is getting all jacked up about Georgia, this is going to be a rebuilding situation, the cupboard is not exactly full," Donnan said."I told you this early this year, not a very talented football team overall."
Donnan went on to say some things about Jeremy Pruitt and his results this year.
"Fortunately they had a defensive coach that could piece some things together," he said.

It's not exactly empty either, though. Seems like bitter fruit to me.

We have 22 seniors on the two deep depth chart.
Donnan knew Xs and Os and played a much tougher schedule than CMR played the last five years.
He would make a good OC I bet.

He is so fricking far removed from the game that he would be in way over his head.

I count 26. Have I had too much to drink?

I count 15 seniors still on the depth chart on 11.18.15.
Thats a big number.

There are 26 on the roster and I had counted 22 on the depth chart earlier in the year. We are down to 15 on it now.
Still a large number. No one can say we are young, rebuilding team. We will be next year.

Um no.
Of course he played a much tougher schedule. Florida and Tennessee were in the hay days and Tech was tough then too.
He was a good offensive coach. There is no denying that. Bobo's first job as an administrative assistant to Donnan.
I read one time where he said if he had known his job was on the line he never would have red shirted Green. Right played with Donnan's recruits. Green, Pollack ect.

He is not wrong.
Yep, if you look at that 247 Team Composite rating that shows us as the #6 most talented team you will notice that quite a few of our highly rated players are either injured, won't be with us next season or aren't contributed much to the team:
Keith Marshal - gone
Malcolm Mitchell - gone
Nick Chubb - injured
Jay Rome - gone
Brice Ramsey - hasn't panned out
Tramel Terry - transferring
Leonard Floyd - Junior, likely gone
A.J. Turman - non-factor
Justin Scott-Wesley - gone
And many of the guys who are staying are rated as 3 stars.
