Do You Think Odom Will Process Players?

Or award de facto lifetime scholarships like GP?
Which would you prefer?

GP has been processing players the last 2-3 years. Just not on the level or Tennessee or Alabama.
And yes Odom will process players.

Are we talking transfers or players that were pushed out the door?
Run a few names past me.

What's the difference?
Anytime you see someone transfer, especially to a smaller school, there was a (amicable) split of some sort.
Schools don't just say GTFO! You suck!

Curious to see if Odom gives him another chance

There are enough challenges facing this team.
Hell no, to Matty returning

Did Pinkel actually process, as in pull scholarships? Or did he inform players they weren't likely to see the field, so he would honor the scholarship if they decided to stay, or he would help them find a school where they might have an opportunity to play?
I think BO will likely follow the Pinkel example. I can think of a few that need a good process...

Publicly that's what happened, but there are several players that have told that their scholarship won't be renewed. He would let the player announce the transfer.

Wow, I didn't know that. If this is the case, we can't say we promise 4yr scholarships. Sadly though, it's the reality of where the sport is.

Technically, there's no such thing as a "4yr schollie".

Most scholarships are 1 year deals. Though there is some talk in the B1G and other conferences of making them 4 year guarantees.

Technically that's right. But haven't we used that as a recruiting tool? We shouldn't if we regularly pull a few schollies a year in favor of younger players or juco transfers.

I think we don't "clean out the trash" like the Bamas and LSUs of the world because we don't recruit like they do.
If they've got a guy who isn't holding up his end of the bargain and a couple 5* guys in the pipeline, they can afford to process, Mizzou not so much.

Mizzou doesn't recruit the same trash. There's a reason Pinkel skipped over a lot of 4 and 5 star guys.
