Ridiculous to freak out over this.

Some folks need to relax.
Don't think anyone is "freaked out," some people just feel like building out a program, hiring coaches, recruiting, and getting ready for spring should be at the top of his mind over the next month and a half, not the job he is leaving.

I'm not upset with this .....
As long as the OC and the DC are named very, very soon and they have their asses on the recruiting trail specifically solidify every single commitment we have right now.

All things which can be done while prepping Alabama's post season. Other coaches on the staff will have time to contact recruits during the dead period. The time Kirby would have spent doing that for Alabama he can do for his new team.I would be shocked if Kirby does not already have a good idea of the guys he will have on his staff. Everything else will just requires a few additional hours at the office.
All of this while gaining free publicity to retain/improve the current recruiting.
