Even with the extra game Mayfield's numbers are better against better competition. He won't win because of the lack of exposure this weekend, but Watson won't win even with it.
Also, Watson's numbers just don't measure up, as far as QBs go, the last 5 winners.
Newton - 3,998 yards with 48 TDs
Griffin - 4,642 yards with 45 TDs
Manziel - 4,600 yards with 43 TDs
Winston - 4,013 yards with 42 TDs
Mariota - 4,452 yards with 52 TDs
Watson - 3,979 with 36 TDs (One more game to play)
You realize some of the stats you are showing were for 14 or 15 games right? Watson may be a little off pace for a typical Heisman winner QB but hes not that far off. His numbers are very close to Mariota and Winston through 12 games.
Watson 3323 yards passing with 27 TDs and 756 rushing with 9 TDs
After 12 games
Mariota 3470 yards passing with 36 TDs and 636 rushing with 11 TDs
Winston 3490 yards passing with 35 TDs and 220 rushing with 2 TDs
Manziel 3419 yards passing with 24 TDs and 1123 rushing and 19 TDs

Every stat I posted was before any bowl or playoff games, i.e 13 games.
Nice try.

Mariota had 10 more touchdowns through 12 games. I will admit he is somewhat similar to Winston, but Winston had almost no real competition in 2013. Watson has several players who've been more impressive.
