So many great RBs in SEC history

And not one of them eclipsed 2,000 yards - even when you add in postseason play. That really surprises me, especially when you consider the fact that the SEC has always been known as a smashmouth, run-oriented conference.
Henry just might be the first to do it. He is just over 200 yards from that magical number.

With a couple more games

Saban probably going to take a year off his pro career

Fournette would already be there had he played as many games as Henry

If my dick wasn't so big, I would've gotten 2200 yards back before I took an arrow to the knee.

....and he didn't have to play Alabama

Averaged like 35.5 carries a game sr year of hs. Has seen that number twice.

He had almost 1400 carries in HS, Saban is just getting what he can while he still can.
He'll probably be Larry Johnson'd after 5 years...

Hey do you remember when SECrs, and 'Bama fans in particular, ripped Spurrier and SC for "running Lattimore into the ground"
In case you're wondering, Lattimore had 249 rushes in his only full season (that included 14 games)
Henry already has 295 with 2 more games left.
eta: Possibly 3 more.

I love how everyone says this, but Adrian Peterson had 748 carries (including 339 in his junior year) in college. He also carries the ball around 350 times a year in the pros.
Henry? 503 carries in his college career.
Matt Forte? 361 carries in his senior year, 809 carries in his college career.

McFadden? 785 carries in only three years.

Henry is a taller Ron Dayne. Dayne was a great college running back who had power and speed.

How many of those guys were 3 or 4 year starters?
And from what I read, AP had around 500 carries in his HS career.
Besides, I was referring to Henry's high volume running style being his end, not the amount he had tolled. The first statement was directed towards the reasoning Saban is running him down.

With 1800 yards, it's probably safe to assume that McFadden would have done it if Felix Jones wasn't there to soak up 1100 yards.
Henry is good. I'd take DMAC over him any day of the week.

And I love how Bama and other SEC fans the entire beginning of the season said Miles would run Fournette into the ground and proceeded to sit entire quarters in some games. Then Henry turns around and carries the ball 40+ times at the end of an already won game.

Henry and Fournette average the exact same amount of carries per game. True story.
