If I had told you that before the season started, and followed that up by telling you they also wouldn't win the West, you'd have called me crazy.
Never would have dreamed an Ole Miss team could have beaten all of those teams in the same year. It's even wilder to think they didn't even win the division.

That is an impressive record against that gauntlet. Just beating Bama is impressive, and then while beating any one of the other three isn't too eye-popping, 3-0 against them deserves some praise too.

It has got to make them sick to their stomachs that a freak play is what kept them out of Atlanta and more than likely winning their first ever SEC championship game. 4th and Damn 25.

Not sure about the other Rebel fans, but I'm pretty happy with the progress Freeze has made in 4 years here. It sucks something horrible to win those games yet not win the west, but I know Freeze is a young coach that is learning a little as he goes along as well.
We got #1 qb coming in next month to take over for Kelly in 2017. If we can get that too flight LT, we will be sitting pretty well the next few years.

What impressed me was the fact that Freeze did not lose the team after the Florida and Memphis games. Previous OM teams would have just packed it in and called it a year after those two losses. He did a great job.

It was also a freak play against Alabama that got them there in the first place. Should never have happened. Karma I guess.

I was terrified of that possibility after Memphis. I knew the team was better than that, but if players start doubting the coaches and their teammates really bad things can happen.

Tuscaloosa hey saw Alabama won this past weekend good luck in the sec championship game. Tough with no internet and picking up bits and pieces here and there. Hell had to wake up 5am Sunday am and step out to make a call and find out if LSU won.....lol

Alabama has been victim of this phenomenon as well...in 2013, if either the Kick 6 OR the Prayer at Jordan Hare doesn't happen...Bama was in the SECCG and probably plays FSU for the Natty.
