You idiots just don't understand.

LSU fans are tired of the same problems that have existed since 2008. STALE. OFFENSE.

It's obvious that through multiple OC changes that the playcalling and scheme on offense hasn't changed at all that Les Miles is too stubborn to let the OC do his thing. We're tired of the same mistakes being made, the lack of energy and preparation in games, and the cryptic bullshite he always gives the media and fanbase.

We're just sick of it.

Normally yes, but he has been at LSU for a while and some fans are not happy to settle for 9-10 win seasons as a result.

Could it end up being a mistake? Sure but sometimes you got to shake it up if Championships are what you expect. There is a good selection of coaches available and some ready to jump to a program like LSU.

I'm sure it doesn't make sense to some, but overall I understand if that is the way LSU fans want to happen.

I could understand all of this and agree with it if they had not already won a championship. I understand that was awhile ago but still. Unless you are Saban it takes a great team with some luck to win a title.

LSU has to have the most spoiled fanbase in existance.

it's quite puzzling. although many of them didn't become LSU fans until 2003

Yep they did and went again in 2011, but they seem to fail in the same areas over and over. Their defense helped them a ton, but even that looks different the last couple of years.

No doubt most other fans would love to have the recruiting and wins LSU has had, but LSU fans should expect more and I don't blame them if they choose to look for someone else.

Give me a coach that loses 2 games a year but has shown to make adjustments or attempt different things over a coach that loses 2 games a year and its the same damn reason every time.

But what if you get a coach that can't win 10-11 games a year. Whose to say the replacement will only lose 2 games a year? Double digit wins isn't something to be mad about. I don't think recruits see it that way.

First off, you seem very level headed on the subject.

I think I would be partially torn on it if I was an LSU fan- his record speaks for itself but understandably frustrating at times and by giggity sometimes you just hanker for a change. It's a toughie IMO.

well Saban lost atleast 3 games a year except for 2003 and pretty much had the same philosophy through the whole 5 years.

I try to be, I think it would be very foolish to fire Les this year and expect to maintain the elite level. This recruiting class would fall apart and a new coach would be left with a depleted roster IMO. That's my biggest thing with giving him the rest of this year. His record has at least earned that and this recruiting class is so important that it would be a massive blow.

Les Miles benefited from a time when Bob Stoops was considered the top CFB coach in America. He actually was never qualified for LSU. He inherited one of the best programs in the country. It's run pretty smooth for him but now his flaws have been exposed and it will only get worse

I don't understand it. They say on the tiger rant they have the talent to win 11,12 or 13 games.

With that OL? A head coaching change wouldn't make them not get handled by Arkansas and Alabama

Spoiled fan base? OKLAHOMA!

Fans are weird here. One day Stoops is the greatest, the next day he should be fired.

OU should have won the 2003 and 2008 titles. Poor coaching and bad execution prevented that. People here still can't move on from that.

He has won an Orange Bowl for the National Championship; has won a Fiesta Bowl, has won a Rose Bowl, has won a Sugar Bowl, has won a Cotton Bowl.

He has gone 7-1 in conference title games and has won 8 overall Big XII titles.

He's not the Big Game Bob he once was but he still manages to surprise many to stay relevant.

You can't win everything. I know that. Some here don't. Oklahoma is still relevant because of him, and for the first time since 2008, they are in consideration for a national championship. It may or may not last, but it has been fun thus far.
