almost beat them if not for a bogus pass interference call

So one pass interference call in 3rd QTR causes Virginia Tech to lose by 11?

Oh and let's ignore that this was a "home" game for Virginia Tech in Maryland. Also let's forget that USC had ~25% more yards than Virginia Tech.

Seems like a legit argument man.

ETA: I am an idiot and messed up what years Leinart/Bush started playing at USC

Well yes one call can totally swing the momentum of a game, VT may not have won but USC was about to be in a serious hole.

Blacksburg is in Maryland? Interesting.

Then definitely can't forget that USC was breaking in new QB/RB/WR

Well that's just not true. Really a pretty astonishing level of ignorance that invalidates anything else you have to say on the matter.

I think the 2004 AU team can beat USC, in a moneyline bet I would take USC.

Pact12 that year was very underrated. Just look at unranked Oregon St. They lost 5 games that year that finished #1, #9, #12, #16 , #19. They took LSU to 2OT losing 22-21
