The 2004 USC team was just unreal

That's weird, since they struggled against some less than average teams that year. The same team that Auburn never trailed to in the Sugar Bowl (Va Tech) almost beat them if not for a bogus pass interference call. Everyone remembers the game against Chokelahoma, but USCheat wasn't world beaters.

We didn't have a game in doubt all year outside of the LSU game early in the season.

I'd put that Auburn team up against anyone.

So one pass interference call in 3rd QTR causes Virginia Tech to lose by 11?

Oh and let's ignore that this was a "home" game for Virginia Tech in Maryland. Also let's forget that USC had ~25% more yards than Virginia Tech.

Seems like a legit argument man.

ETA: I am an idiot and messed up what years Leinart/Bush started playing at USC
