In my opinion you are getting an outstanding player. I am a little biased but his mother works with my wife and has for many years and he pitches here in Navarre Florida. Will be interesting to see how he does for the Hogs.

The reason I mentioned him today is he officially signed today. His entire family is moving out to Arkansas as well.

I'm not meaning to set up Arkansas jokes, but I have no idea how the hogs don't consistently land a top 5 class every year. The baseball program has far and away the best facilities in the country. Sounds like a nice pickup

We did last year (had the #1 class depending on who you go by) and are set up for another really good one next year after a "down" class. We usually just lose a lot of them to the draft and since the state is small it doesn't produce a whole lot of guys who have wanted to play for Arkansas their whole life or something.

We've gotten players from everywhere though. Ohio to New Jersey to Hawaii and California.

The kid and his family have a great opportunity with him being able to pitch under Dave Jorn. He is arguably the best in the business.

Since 2003 Jorn has had 33 pitchers drafted. 16/17 of his pitchers that were drafted in high school have improved their draft stock after pitching under Jorn.
