1. He's balled out this year
2. Tunsil, Treadwell and possibly Engram are leaving
3. Uncle Jim doesn't seem to be a fan of the offense
4. Its a very weak QB class

I think it would be a mistake and don't think that it is expected. But sometimes these kids make their own decisions.

He needs 1 more data point, but that won't stop him from going.

#Swag.

I don't even know how much a mistake it would be. Like the OP mentioned, he's losing a lot of talent on offense. And the QB this year is very weak. Kelly has shown he can produce at this level and will likely perform well at the combine. What exactly does he have to gain by coming back next year? To play on a football team that will likely be taking a big step back? Not saying he's likely to leave, but it wouldn't necessarily be a mistake either

With what they are losing on defense and offense, Kelly will find himself having to keep the team in any game with his arm. So actually no different than now.

He needs another year and coming back would be a smart decision, but other than going to OM in the first place, he's not shown a deep history of making smart decisions.

The biggest factor in this equation, IMO.

Yes, he's gone.

Treadwell is in his own league but we have some good WR on the roster and DK Metcalf coming in.

Little and Nauta should help with the other

Dad was a pro hall of famer?
...he gone, and probably should be on genetics alone.

Isn't Jim Kelly his Uncle?

Only Jim and the boy's mama would probably know that...and I doubt that you'll get anything definite out of them.

Big hole at left tackle.

Guard to guard we are fine.

And we had some young guys get reps while tunsil was suspended.

We need a LT to come in and play immediately and maybe Bryce Matthews another recruit will be at RT. his dad was an NFL lineman and his high school coach.

We will regress but not terribly assuming we get a stud LT

I would think its 50/50. The team could suck next year after the stars leave and he is a risk taker so he could be worse next year.
