You're probably one of those people that think most cops are looking for an opportunity to beat somebody senseless.

Most of the time when someone's getting beaten by cops, they could've easily done something to prevent it. Like being respectful.

And maybe since southern white folks are getting targeted now, we can stop making this a race issue.

No I don't think that at all. I believe there is an endemic situation of police being trained to shoot first and ask questions later. They're constantly on edge because they're taught to be that way.

I don't know enough to agree or disagree with this statement. But so what if someone disrespects a cop? It's not something I would do or agree with, but it's part of the job. And the respect thing goes both ways, you can't demand respect and the benefit of the doubt without being ready to do the same.
