Not unless they make the SEC Championship they don't

Arkansas jumps into the top 5

It's not that the one loss is going to put us out of contention, it's that the one loss was pathetically ugly. We don't deserve to be in the conversation right now

I hope you do make it. But as a second SEC team. Clemson probably won't lose and of course I am hoping Bama wins out to claim a spot so that leaves two.
Ohio State might not survive that path to the end. To be honest as bad as it sounds Iowa probably has a one game season to end up unbeaten. ND has a tough road but if the committee can put them in they will.
Good chance that Okie State Baylor and Oklahoma along with TCU finish each other off.
Stanford and ND might be playing each other for a spot. I hope LSU makes it in in the way I described but you'll need some help.

You posted that shite on the Tiger Rant and just had to bring it here. LSU's only real shot is for Bama to loss.

Or a national champion that was 2nd best in their conference.

A month goes by, people have short memories
Other teams lose
It could happen.

And LSU's crystal ball from 2007 makes your comment just as stupid as mine.
Carry on though.

If you cannot win your division, you do not deserve to be in the playoffs.

Well if we dominate in our last 3 games then we'll see how our resume measures up with the other contenders. But right now we have no argument

Stanford got thoroughly outplayed by Northwestern, and they're still in contention.
LSU needs a lot of help, but I don't think the margin or perception of the loss last night will have TOO much bearing on their chances.

If the right teams win and lose the SEC can get two...a loss to an Alabama team that is number 1 or 2 and SEC champs with an otherwise clean slate gets you considered. The conference champ argument is BS because ND can never get that done.

If every other conference Champ has 2+ losses and LSU wins out, there is a chance.
Other than that, I don't see it happening. I've been saying this for weeks.

Michigan winning the Big Ten with 2 losses, Big XII producing a 1-loss champion, and maybe Notre Dame or Stanford losing a game outside of the one they play against each other.
If LSU wins out and two of those things happen, LSU would be right there. If LSU wins out and all three of those things happen, they'd probably get in.
But that's a lot of ifs.

Arky can't stop Fournette. They couldn't even slow down Swag Kelly.

Arky game could be another shootout with 100+ combined pts

Like I said, we may very well still be considered, but I don't know why an LSU fan would think we're deserving. In 2007 even after our second loss we all still felt that we had the best team in the SEC and country. I don't feel that way at all right now

Michigan very well could win that league I think Ohio State has a very tough road down the stretch and may not survive.
You need Stanford to knock off ND and then lose their title game. All you need is one open spot and I think that the Big 12 chews each other up at the end too.
Win out and you have a shot.
