Here's a hypothetical situation. Arkansas is 5-4, with three games remaining (LSU, Mississippi State, and Missouri). What would happen if Arkansas were to lose to LSU and Mississippi State (giving them a 5-6 record) and then Missouri could not field a team to play them? Would Arkansas get a "win" to make them bowl eligible? If not, would they have any legal recourse to argue that Missouri cost them projected bowl revenue?

Yes. In NCAA Football, if a team forfeits a game before it's played, their opponent is awarded a 1-0 win.
