Anybody think if Lawson had played for Auburn against Arky would the Tigers have beaten the Hogs? And if so many on here think Auburn is soo bad let us not forget they took Arky to 4 OTs on their home turf. And yet we have so much respect for the Hogs... it's all sorta odd.

The defense would be totally different with Lawson. He changes everything. Even Freeze admitted that.
Offensively, Gus can't run his system without a qb with the threat to run. I was hoping they didn't put the Josh Smith guy in because with time he probably is more effective. The entire premise of that offense is all the options and motions, if you take away the qb option you are left with pretty simple keys for the defense.
